About Young & Son Remodeling
Young & Son Remodeling was built from decades of real-world experience in the insurance and construction industries. Our founder spent over 30 years working as a catastrophe insurance adjuster, handling large-scale storm, fire, and disaster claims across residential and commercial properties.
Over time, it became clear how often policyholders were being underserved during the claims process. The same training and systems designed to evaluate damage were often being used in ways that limited fair compensation for homeowners. Seeing this firsthand, created a turning point.
Instead of continuing on the insurance side, the decision was made to step away, obtain a contractor’s license and build a company focused on protecting homeowners—not minimizing their claims. Young & Son Remodeling was created with a clear mission: to stand on the side of the property owner and ensure damage is properly identified, documented, and restored the right way.

We bring industry-recognized certifications and hands-on expertise to every project, including:
- HAAG Certified Inspector (roofing and storm damage assessment)
- IICRC Certified (water, fire, and mold restoration standards)
